Habitat’s helping hand

Housing charity Habitat for Humanity has teamed up with AMI insurance to support up to 75,000 Kiwis in substandard homes. They’ll help with minor repairs to improve issues like dampness and mould growth. Habitat for Humanity New Zealand Group chief executive Alan Thorp says damp homes increase the risk of asthma and other respiratory disorders.
