Door opens to rich

Over the next year, 220 wealthy investors are expected to drop in to New Zealand. New border exemptions allow visits from foreign investors — who meet the criteria of two specific government programmes. They allow officials to invite key people here, to facilitate high-value investment in the country. MBIE says the move is important to New Zealand’s economic recovery.
