Youth festival set to rock

Whanganui District Council’s Youth Committee is working with other local agencies to stage the Hinengaro Rangatahi Festival at Majestic Square in Victoria Avenue on Friday, 13 December 2019 from 4.00pm until about 8.00pm.

A fresh twist on the previous vibe. festival, Hinengaro is a free event with a mental health focus. Along with interactive hauora experiences the festival will include food vendors, a mini basketball competition plus other sports, games and art activities, as well as music from local bands Ocean Loaf, City College Band, Ra Costello, Rhythm Vision, In Business and DRXNES.
