Ethan’s death and her relationship with Phoenix, another VORTEX member. It is Phoenix who becomes the Black Wolf, as he and Violet try to escape the Foundation.

Aimed at Young Adult readers, this is a great read, every bit as thrilling as Violet

Black. Can’t wait to read the last one.
