Heritage Grant Fund

Apply for funding by 31 January 2022

Whanganui District Council has increased its Heritage Grant Fund and widened the scope of funding criteria.

Owners of heritage buildings can now apply for funding support for professional services relating to seismic design and fire upgrades.

Funding can also be sought for council and Crown-owned buildings that are in community use, as well as privately-owned buildings outside the central city subject to substantial community benefit.
