TE KORAKORA FESTIVAL

Federal St will be blessed with the sounds of Troy Kingi performing his latest album Holy Colony Burning Acres this Friday, on the same day the album officially drops. He’s headlining Te Korakora music festival, which is the urban street party closing out the Matariki celebrations this year. Also on the bill are Moana and the Tribe, reo Maori trio Te Kakano and students from Te Wharekura o Hoani Waititi performing kapa haka. It’s set to be a beautiful celebration of Maori music and a jolly good time that won’t cost you a cent.
