MANDELA DAY

Thursday is Nelson Mandela’s birthday and celebrations are taking place all over the world. In Auckland the Freedom Food Truck Festival will be at Eden Park, where the Mandela My Life exhibition has been on display since April. The exhibit will be open late so visitors can enjoy the light display outside the stadium, live music and delicious street food before taking in the more than 200 original artefacts, documents, personal items and artworks from The Nelson Mandela Foundation and Mandela’s private collection.

July 18, 5pm-8pm. Eden Park, Walters Ave, Kingsland. No entry fee for Freedom Food Truck Festival. Exhibit special entry price $10.
