Quit scouring the web for a tote bag with your favourite slogan on it and just make your own at the Auckland Museum’s Slogan Printing Workshop. Participants will be given a guided tour of the Carried Away: Bags Unpacked exhibit, light snacks and refreshments and will then design and print their own sturdy tote bag to take home. There will be a brief discussion on the history of slogans and personal statements in fashion and art, which if you don’t have a personal slogan yet, will help you devise one. Trust us, printing your personal statement on a tote bag is a much wiser decision than having it tattooed on your body.
