... A day in the life of a sex worker. This world is usually “sold” using language and media that rarely captures or expresses the reality. This new exhibition reveals a nuanced view of an often-hidden or misrepresented world through the lens of those inside the industry. Take this gentle and delicate piece (left), Alice Cassidy’s Aching Bones. Like many of the works, it tells a truth beyond the stereotypes.
