What I’d do
1 I head out to Otara Markets. This has to be one of the best Auckland markets. Every Saturday, rain or shine. My friend runs a business there called Yunga Opppa to support young Maori and Pasifika teams sell their products. We often support their innovative products they’ve created by buying one or two. There’s an awesome selection of crafts, fruit and vege, and food stalls. It’s not hard to lose a morning eating great street food while

Crimson Consulting is running a social innovation competition. I’m really into finding those random lookout spots around Auckland that showcase amazing views of the city. My favourite is just under the harbour bridge: Sulphur Beach Rd. Nothing beats the mesmerising sunrise view with a warm cup of coffee from Shaky Isles. On the way home, I’ll stop off to pick up my girlfriend, where we usually end up playing a competitive game of bowling with the loser paying for Movenpick icecream. I then head off to the My Milkman warehouse to pick and pack orders for Monday morning deliveries. Then it’s off home to finish a few assignments, prepare myself mentally for upcoming exams and gather with family for dinner.
