US PGA tour, today 7am, tomorrow 5am, Monday 4am; Friday 5am. LPGA, today/ tomorrow 10.30pm. European PGA Tour, tomorrow 12.30am/ 11pm. Thursday/ Friday 10.30pm.

Heading into the pointy end on the three major tours with Kiwi interest in all. Lydia Ko, fresh from her best for some time, is in France for the Evian — fifth and final major on the LPGA Tour. Round three tonight and the fourth tomorrow before Ko and a number of other players including Brooke Henderson, Paula Creamer, Yani Tseng and Brittany Lincicome pack up and head south for the NZ Open from September 28. Ko won the Evian in 2015 to become the youngest major winner on the LPGA Tour. The PGA Tour had a week off but is now in full swing at the BMW Championship in Illinois where 70 will become 30 for the tour finale. Danny Lee just made it into the field this week but will need a huge effort to go any further in the FedEx Cup playoffs. The top five on those standings are the same as top five in the world rankings. Missing here are Bubba Watson, Adam Scott among others. The Tour Championship starts in Atlanta on Friday with US$ 10m again up for grabs by the winner. The European Tour is at the KLM Open in the Netherlands and heads to the Portugal Masters from Thursday. Ryan Fox, inside the top 25 in the Race to Dubai standings, is in both fields and looking for another top 10 finish in his rookie season.
