New boss at CBRE NZ

CBRE has appointed highly experience­d property profession­al Andrew Stringer to lead the firm’s New Zealand business. Stringer has more than 20 years senior level commercial real estate experience, including executive roles with Kiwi Income Property Trust ( now Kiwi Property Group) and Precinct Properties.

Three gas stations sold

Three Caltex service station and associated Fix stores have been sold to separate purchasers for a total of $ 12,775,000 by Alan Haydock and Damien Bullick, of Bayleys Auckland. They were at 913 Dominion Rd, Mt Roskill, for $ 4,175,000 at a 4.62 per cent yield; at 682 Gt South Rd, Penrose sold for $ 3.9m, a 5 per cent yield and at St Lukes Rd/ Sandringha­m Rd, for $ 4.7m, at a 4.49 per cent yield.

Paraparaum­u Beach

An 880sqm commercial office and retail on 1844sq mof land at

345- 347 Kapiti Rd, Paraparaum­u Beach, has sold by tender for $ 2,013,000, representi­ng a yield of

7.47 per cent, in a deal brokered by Dean Anderson of Colliers Internatio­nal.

CBRE auction

A 660sq mindustria­l property at 12 Stock Street, New Lynn, marketed by Michael Bray and Deborah Dowling of CBRE, sold at auction for $ 970,000. A 900sq mclear span office- warehouse, at 28c Andromeda Crescent, East Tamaki, sold at the same auction for $ 1.75m, marketed by CBRE’s Patrick Sammon and Lewis Watson.

East Tamaki centre

A 18,126sq mdistribut­ion centre and office at 68- 80 Stonedon Dr, East Tamaki, has sold for $ 32,577,392, by Greg Goldfinch and Andrew Hooper of Colliers — a yield of 6.25 per cent.

Avenues commercial land

A home on 414sq msection zoned for commercial use and including four onsite car parks, at 194 15th Ave, Tauranga, has sold for $ 550,000 through Bayleys Tauranga salesperso­n Lloyd Davidson.
