STREET REQUIEM

Auckland Gay and Lesbian Singers ( GALS) are turning 25 and to celebrate they’re putting on a performance of Street Requiem, a contemporary choral work created to honour those who are working to end homelessness and violence on the streets. The piece incorporates gospel, Celtic, neo- romantic, neo- baroque, indigenous and contemporary genres. All proceeds from the event will go to Lifewise, Rainbow Youth and Auckland City Mission.
