Muriwai drowning

A man drowned in Muriwai yesterday afternoon. Police said they received reports a man was in trouble at Maori Bay at 3.35pm. Witnesses were being spoken to and providing support to the man’s friends. St John responded to the incident and the Auckland Rescue Helicopter was also dispatched.
