MONTANA FOLK FESTIVAL

Weekend Herald - - Review -

The history of Montana’s folk music stretches back to early pioneering days, a heritage richly celebrated each year at the Montana Folk Festival in Butte. Set amid relics from the town’s copper mining past, event-goers enjoy a diverse line-up of local favourites and international artists performing against the stunning backdrop of the Northern Rockies. Complemented by traditional workshops, folklife demonstrations and markets, entry is free, though donations are encouraged.
