THE STAX MUSEUM

Weekend Herald - - Review -

Once the HQ of Stax Records, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music has over 2,000 items of memorabilia, including many of the original instruments that were used to record classic Stax hits by the likes of Otis Redding, Albert King and Booker T. & the MGs. Highlights of the 17,000 foot2 complex include an authentic 101-year-old Mississippi Delta church, and Isaac Hayes’ gold-trimmed Cadillac El Dorado.
