Drug baby in special unit

Weekend Herald - - News -

A 1-month-old baby wrongly given the drug methadone by a pharmacy should recover without any long-term effects, specialists say. The infant is in a serious but stable condition in Hawke's Bay Hospital's special care baby unit. A hospital spokeswoman said: “Clinicians are confident the baby will make a full recovery,” she said.
