THE SIMPSONS BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Post-apocalyptic narratives are a dime a dozen but you have to hand it to playwright Anne Washburn for Mr Burns: a post-electric play ,itis pretty darn original. The play sees the survivors of the apocalypse occupying their troubled minds by piecing together an episode of The Simpsons, one of their only shared memories. Directed by Oliver Driver and with a talented cast including Olivia Tennet and Joel Tobeck, the Silo Theatre production is a dark comedy, a wee bit musical, and will be unlike any other post-apocalyptic story you’ve seen.
