Close out Te Wiki o te reo Maori at Auckland Museum today where He Taonga Maori — the Maori Gallery will be alive with Maori language and performance. Te Whanau Awhina — the bilingual unit from Clendon Park School, Kahurangi ki Uta (Papakura High School) and recording artist Ria Hall (below) will be performing in celebration of this year’s theme: Kia kaha te reo Maori — Let’s make the Maori language strong. Today, 10am-5pm (performances between 10.30am and 1.30pm), He Taonga Maori Gallery, Auckland War Memorial Museum. Free for Auckland residents.
