STORY NIGHT
Girls can do anything, as visitors to the Central City Library will discover at the Heroic Girls Story Night. It’s an after-hours event where the kids can get a cup of Milo and settle in for an hour of storytelling aimed at 5-9-year-olds. Don’t just send your girls along, send your boys too — these stories about girls who are changing the world are for everyone. Tonight, 5.30pm-6.30pm. Central City Library, Lorne St, Auckland.
WORKSHOPS ON THE WHARF
Whether you’ve got a juggler or a doodler, there is probably something they can enjoy down at Wynyard Quarter this weekend. They’re holding workshops for kids down at the wharf. Grab a coffee and a bite to eat while the little ones are occupied with arts and crafts or circus fun. Today and tomorrow, 11am-2pm, Silo Park (by the play space).
