What to do
The big hair. The big riffs. The big drums. Everything about Def Leppard was big, and even on my crappy little home stereo, the Brits’ 1987 album Hysteria sounded masssive. It remains my introduction to stadium-sized rock, and I’ve still got a soft spot for badly punned songs like Armageddon It and Let’s Get Rocked. Most of the band’s big hair is gone these days, but judging by recent shows on Def Leppard’s Viva Hysteria! tour, they’re playing their biggest anthems. Someone hold my beer — I need to get my air guitar out.
