ARMISTICE 100
Tomorrow marks 100 years since people danced and cheered in the streets celebrating the end of World War l. Knowing what we now know about the conflicts that were still to come, commemorations tomorrow at Auckland Museum will be a mix of celebratory performance and sombre remembrance. There will be musical performances throughout the day and the museum will remain open until 8.15pm with WWl and WWll guided tours of the museum at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. A remembrance service will begin at 11am and Illuminate, a 15-minute looped film honouring the soldiers who lost their lives, will be projected on to the North facade of the building from 8.30pm-11pm tonight and tomorrow night. Tomorrow, 10am-8.15pm, Auckland Museum. Free with museum entry.
