Baby lost

The letter from Susan Grimsdell was so right. Fifty years ago I lost a baby boy at 20 weeks. Frightened, confused, operation to remove afterbirth, blood transfusion, incoming milk supply. Family in another country. Husband and I had to struggle through on our own. No help at all from anywhere. I wasn’t given the chance to see my child. He was taken away to the incinerator.
