The film The Social Network is an all-time favourite of mine. It depicts Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg as a ruthless, dominant and thoroughly unlikeable character. It remains to be seen if the players in a new docuseries, Valley of the Boom, are as wildly compelling, but it looks promising. Along with a cast of highly credible actors, including our cover star Bradley Whitford (check out that hairline), it has Arianna Huffington of HuffPost as executive producer and also features some of the actual players of the digital Wild West of 90s Silicon Valley, merging with actors playing characters. Like, tick. Russell Brown also provides an excellent list of great geek books. See our cover story, How the Web Was Won ,on pages 4 and 5.
