Henderson to Bayleys

Daniel Henderson has joined Bayleys Real Estate as North Shore commercial general manager. The former Auckland Internatio­nal Airport property developmen­t manager and Smales Farm general manager retains directorsh­ips, including on the NZ Green Building Council.

East Ta¯maki

A substantia­l industrial property at 62 Allens Rd, East T¯amaki, has sold vacant to an owner/occupier for $7.25m. It has a net lettable area of 3090sq m on a 7,550sq m freehold site. Colliers’ Joshua Franklin, Hamish West and Paul Higgins brokered the off-market sale.

Greerton industrial

Three light industrial premises at 63, 65A, 65B Maleme St, Tauranga, on separate titles totalling 1.6417ha with multiple tenancies, have been sold for $7.7m at 6.61 per cent yield by James Ross, Bayleys.

Airport industrial

An industrial property at 3A Airpark Dr, has sold vacant for $4.35m. It comprises a 1660sq m office and warehouse on a 2521sq m freehold site. The off-market sale was transacted by James Appleby, Brad Johnston and Paul Jarvie of Colliers.

Manurewa Commercial

A 1033sq m 1980s’ commercial building on a 1036sq m site, at 236 Gt South Rd, Manurewa was sold at a Bayleys Total Property auction for $2 million at an 8.25 per cent yield through Shane Snijder, Dave Stanley and Piyush Kumar.

Dunedin industrial

A large warehouse property leased to Fonterra in Dunedin’s Silverstre­am Industrial Park has sold for $1.6m, at a yield of

9.5 per cent. The sale of Lot 3, 180 Dukes Rd, North Taieri, was brokered by Dean Collins of Colliers. It comprises a

2257sq m warehouse on a 3033sq m freehold site.

Bare Rosedale site

A 2951sq m bare site at 59 Arrenway Dr, Albany, has sold for $2.1m at $711 per sq m through Matt Mimmack and Laurie Burt, Bayleys.

Gisborne citrus orchard

An 11.07ha citrus orchard and homestead at 297 Matawai Rd, Waerenga-a-hika, Gisborne, sold prior to auction for $2.3m. This was brokered by rural and lifestyle specialist­s David Egan and Alan Thorpe of Colliers.

Former Kingsland PO

A new owner-occupier has paid $1,962,000 for the former Kingsland Post Office, a two-level heritage building at 478 New North Rd, in a deal brokered by Bayleys’ Phil Haydock. St Vincent de Paul had operated a shop there for 30 years.

Industrial unit

A 600sq m industrial unit at 25A Andromeda Cres, East T¯amaki, has sold for $1.55m, at a yield of 5.18 per cent. The deal was brokered by Colliers’ Jolyon Thomson and Joshua Franklin.
