Youth cancer charity CanTeen New Zealand has appointed CEO Nick Laing to lead the organisati­on into a new phase of service delivery following a restructur­e last year. Nick comes from the NZ AIDS Foundation (NZAF) where he was general manager of operations for almost five years. He brings significan­t health sector experience, having also held senior roles at the Auckland District Health Board.

Kensington Swan is pleased to announce the appointmen­t of Linda Clark as a partner in the firm. Linda joined Kensington Swan in 2014 as special counsel and has played a fundamenta­l role in the continued growth of the Public Law and Advocacy team based in Wellington.

Lorraine Moser has been appointed Chair of Natural Health Products NZ's Board. Natural Health Products NZ is the industry umbrella group that represents New Zealand’s natural products, functional foods, complement­ary medicines, cosmeceuti­cals and nutraceuti­cals industries. Ms Moser, who has extensive experience in the natural health products sector in New Zealand and Australia, is currently Vitaco Health's strategic innovation manager – a role she will continue to hold while on the board.

South Auckland realtor Derryn Mayne has been appointed director of Century 21 New Zealand after purchasing a 25% stake in the company from Charles Tarbey, owner of Century 21 Australasi­a. The new co-owner of Century 21 New Zealand has firm plans to grow the company’s market share with a key focus on recruitmen­t, staff training, building successful teams, succession planning, and overall business developmen­t. Ms Mayne is also keen to attract and encourage high-performing salespeopl­e to see the huge potential in Century 21 franchise ownership, as she did.
