Colliers International has brokered the sale of a substantial Mount Maunganui industrial property near the Port of Tauranga for $5.25 million, at a yield of 5.1 per cent. Tenanted on a 10-year lease as a fish processing facility, the property at 5-9, 11 and 13 Tyne St comprises a 4758sq m freehold site across five titles with 2122sq m of warehouse and office space. Simon Clark and Rich Davidson of Colliers Tauranga brokered the sale by deadline private treaty.
Childcare centre
A 150sq m childcare centre on 827sq m Mixed Urban Housing site at 49 Browns Rd, Manurewa, leased to Choice Kids until March 2033, sold for $1.04 million at a 7.38 per cent yield by Tony Chaudhary, Amy Weng and Janak Darji, Bayleys South Auckland.
Papamoa investment
A childcare investment property in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty, has sold for $2.821 million, at a yield of 4.8 per cent. The 369sq m childcare centre is on a 1520sq m freehold site with an eight-year lease to BestStart, New Zealand’s largest early learning provider. The sale by deadline private treaty was brokered by Simon Clark and Grant White of Colliers International Tauranga.

5045sq m of bare industrial-zoned land in a new subdivision at 22, 26, 27 and 28 Gateway Park, Pokeno, sold for $1.2m by John Algie, Bayleys North Shore and Shane Snijder, Bayleys South Auckland.

2298sq m of buildings with multiple motor trade and sales offices across six adjoining leasehold sites totalling 4727sq m at 266-270 The Strand and
39-45 McAlister St, Whakatane, sold for $1.1m by Brendon Bradley and Graeme Coleman, Bayleys Tauranga.
Dairy farm sale
55.7ha of rich, flat farming land currently run as part of a dairy farm with adjoining land plus two dwellings at 34 Te Poi Rd, Matamata, sold for $3.7m by Sam Troughton and Peter Kelly, Bayleys Matamata-Piako.
Industrial unit
A tenanted 1110sq m industrial unit at 2/40 Canaveral Drive, Rosedale, on Auckland’s North Shore, has sold for $4.6m. The deal was brokered by Colliers International Directors Matt Prentice and Shoneet Chand.
Motorhome auction
A 7559sq m leasehold industrial yard property at 24 Logistics Drive, Harewood, near Christchurch Airport, has sold after auction for $3.3 million, at yield of 7.64 per cent. The property has a 1134sq m warehouse, canopy and office facility that was purpose built in 2008 for tenant Apollo Motorhome Holidays, a division of ASX-listed Apollo Tourism and Leisure. The deal was brokered by Sam Staite and Mark Macauley of Colliers International in Christchurch.
Freehold facility
A tenanted 1229sq m industrial facility on a 1603sq m freehold site at 7 Airborne Rd, Rosedale, has sold for $4.75 million, at a yield of 4.8 per cent. The transaction was brokered by directors Matt Prentice and Shoneet Chand of Colliers International’s North Shore office.
