Downtown Wellington

A 1468sq m redevelopment site at 81 Vivian St (123 Taranaki St), Wellington sold for $8.3m at $5654/sq m by Fraser Press, Luke Kershaw, Bayleys Wellington.

Office buildings

Two interconnecting Wellington CBD office buildings at 126-136 Lambton Quay sold for $15m to property developer Ian Cassels. Covering 7980sq m, the buildings were completed in 1958. The larger building is 12 levels, the smaller is 10. Brokers Michelle Chadwick and Richard Findlay of Colliers International negotiated the sale.

Dunbar Sloane sale

The Dunbar Sloane building at 32 Waring Taylor St, Wellington, changed hands for $5.2m. The five-level building was built in the 1920s but underwent a significant upgrade in the mid-1980s. The buyer is planning to seismically strengthen the 2422sq m building. The deal was brokered by Colliers International brokers Michelle Chadwick, Hamish Templeton and Richard Findlay.

Development potential

A 5612sq m flat contour Light Industry-zoned site at 11-13 Westfield Pl, Mt Wellington, Auckland, with future development potential and a short-term leaseback in place sold for $4.71m by Sunil Bhana, James Hill, Bayleys Auckland.

Industrial holding

A 1.64ha industrial landholding with 2588sq m buildings used to process food products at 15 Crosbie Rd, Pukekohe, Auckland, sold for $3.15m by Shane Snijder, Peter Migounoff, Bayleys South Auckland.

Warehouse/office lease

A 14,758sq m industrial facility at 30A Ash Rd, Wiri, Auckland, has been leased to Toll Group (NZ) Ltd in a deal brokered by Colliers International. The property comprises a warehouse/office plus a substantial canopy and three access points. Industrial directors Brad Johnston, Andrew Hooper and Greg Goldfinch transacted the lease deal.

Freehold site

A 761.5sq m warehouse on a 2293sq m freehold site at

1 Roxanne Place, Tauranga, sold for $1.54m, at a yield of

5.9 per cent. The deal was brokered by Rich Davidson and Rob Schoeser of Colliers International Tauranga.

Childcare centre

A 507sq m childcare centre at unit 2, 421 Roscommon Rd, Clendon, Auckland, with 15-year lease to Choice Kids, licensed for 90 children, sold for $3m at a 7.02 per cent yield by Tony Chaudhary, Janak Darji, Amy Weng, Bayleys South Auckland.
