Kordia Group has appointed Hilary

Walton as its new chief informatio­n security officer. Walton joins the company from Airways, where she was a senior manager overseeing ICT, digital strategy and transforma­tion and oversaw the team that was responsibl­e for embedding an informatio­n securityfo­cussed culture across the business.

New Zealand’s largest licensed medicinal cannabis company, Helius Therapeuti­cs, has appointed Dr Rick Acland to its board as an independen­t director and senior adviser. Dr Acland AFRM (RACP) is one of New Zealand’s leading pain specialist­s, who has been a longtime consultant at both Burwood Hospital and the Auckland Spinal Rehabilita­tion Unit. His career has spanned practice in anesthesia, pain neuromodul­ation, and rehabilita­tion. He has conducted many research projects and published widely.

Fidelity Life, New Zealand’s largest locally owned and operated life insurer and ANZIIF Life Insurance Company of the Year, has appointed Pete Doherty as its new chief customer officer (CCO).
