Tasty proposition: Auckland sushi stores for sale
Four Auckland sushi stores are being offered for sale, giving business buyers a chance to be part of a topperforming fast food brand.
The &Sushi stores are being marketed by Nick Giles of LINK Business Broking and are located in Newmarket, the North Shore and Auckland CBD.
Giles says the stores for sale under a “licence to operate” model, which allows &Sushi's owner “to keep a close watch on the quality of the product and, at the same time, offers a prospective store owner the comfort that they will get great training and some ongoing support”.
“It also means that fees are much lower than with a traditional franchise model,” Giles says.
Giles says &Sushi has built a huge following over the years.
“This is a fun brand and so hugely popular across social media such is the attractiveness of the food,” he says. “The brand was established by owner, Jeff Kim, back in 2015 and he has grown the business to four stores, with more in the planning stages.”
The flagship store is in Newmarket, while the rest are located in Smales Farm’s “Goodside”, City Works Depot and Britomart. “All the stores are extremely well bedded in and all offer great options for potential owners at different price-points.”, Giles says.
He adds: “&Sushi is a brand 'without borders' - anyone from anywhere would fit right in as long as they have the right passion and attitude. You don’t even need to know how to cook as the staff in each store are experienced and very well trained.”
Giles says the four stores are available to purchase now, with prices ranging from $175,000 to $695,000. "We have priced them well for the current market and someone looking to replace an income can be assured of earning from day one.”
Each store has both the capacity and opportunity for growth, says Giles. “Catering is a real area of growth for the brand and, whilst each store does plenty of it, there is huge demand out there and especially amongst corporate customers.”
