Beaufort + Co, a thriving cafe business on Auckland’s North Shore, is on the market for sale.
The owners, Andrew and Megan Papas, had little idea how much growth and success they would have since taking on the cafe.
They said they listened to the local market and have successfully created what this busy neighbourhood was looking for.
With their first baby on the way and significant work commitments elsewhere, the couple have decided sell up, with Zoe Wood, of LINK Business Brokers, managing the sale.
They’re looking for a purchaser who can maximise the current momentum and take Beaufort + Co to the next level.
Wood said Beaufort + Co is a beautiful space featuring minimalist design, lots of plants and big windows that fill the space with natural light.
“With a large commercial kitchen, this cafe holds growth opportunities for any new owner who is looking to develop the business further. An experienced staff team delivers excellent food, great coffee and Auckland wide renowned doughnuts that easily sell out every weekend.”
She added: “Through a lot of hard work, innovative menu design and strategic thinking, Beaufort + Co has developed a great reputation within the local community and on social media, with over 13,500 followers across Instagram and Facebook. This reputation has enabled Beaufort + Co to continue to increase in sales significantly, despite the ups and downs of 2020.
Beaufort + Co, which is located at 52f Oteha Valley Road, in Oteha, is being sold as a turn-key business. “The hard work has been done, a great reputation has been built, and there is still room for growth. Everything about the operation is clean and simple.”
Wood the business would suit a buyer who is after an energising people-based job, the ability to knock off work before 3pm, and a very healthy full-time income. “In the summer we close the caf and head to the beach,” said Andrew.
