As resident former Multipla owner/ apologist around here, I love relating that the reborn 1998 model was not intended to be a “Fiat Multipla” — it was a “Multipla Fiat”, meaning Multipla was the brand. It doesn’t seem to matter so much now.

I’ve chosen Donkervoort because, like me, it’s got a difficult Dutch name to pronounce. Names aside, they make some ridiculously cool lightweight, Audi- powered roadsters that would give most modern supercars a run for their money on both the drag strip and the racetrack.
