Drones for dolphins

A protection plan for the world’s most endangered dolphin will use drones and artificial intelligence to fill critical science gaps about the distribution and how they use their habitat. Only about 63 Ma¯ui dolphins remain in our seas. Oceans and Fisheries Minister David Parker said the project was just one part of the Government’s plan to save the M¯aui dolphin.
