A YEAR OF WINNERS
We are all prospering after a year we never saw coming. Last year was a challenging year, but, in many ways, a watershed year for RE/MAX New Zealand.
2020 threw at us the most unexpected… circumstances we never could have imagined. But, as a CEO taking over during lockdown, I have witnessed this network adding a new franchise every two weeks.
I sell a legacy rather than a franchise. I make financial freedom and wealth creation possible, so providing for generations to come. It is very personal to me and I am indebted to the people of this wonderful real estate network and am grateful for their trust.
It is wonderful that we were even able to come together for the annual awards event to see the network’s top performers recognised and celebrate the best of 2020. We had a capacity crowd, one of the greatest attendances on record for RE/MAX New Zealand, because everybody wanted to be a part of it.
Our ultimate accolade for business owners, Broker Owner of the Year, went to husband-and-wife team, Ben and Nola Kloppers, RE/MAX Realty Group. Our highest business accolade, the ‘Pinnacle Enterprise’ Award, went to RE/MAX Partners, owned by Frank Cui.
This year, I introduced an award of the highest honour, the CEO Cup, and announced Corinna Mansell, General Manager of RE/MAX Partners in Flatbush, as its inaugural recipient. This award is not bestowed anywhere else in the RE/MAX global network and the recipient is my choice alone.
I congratulate all winners and top performers in the network for outstanding achievements in the year that was 2020.
I thank the property sellers who entrust us to market their precious asset, the buyers who allow us to help realise their dreams, the investors, the landlords and the tenants. You are all special and valuable members of our RE/MAX community
Finally, I thank the network which, in the spirit of generosity on the night of the awards, raised $9150 through a charity auction for the Salvation Army, to which RE/MAX New Zealand has pledged its support.
