Only a handful of luxury apartments are now available to buy within the high-end Herne Bay complex Jervois & Lawrence now that move-in dates are looming.

The building has achieved practical completion and awaiting its imminent Code Compliance Certificate.

Barfoot & Thompson agent Aaron Cook says, “Basically, achieving practical completion means it’s now at a level where effectively people could live in the apartments but we’re just finishing a few details while we wait for CCC so owners can then settle and move in.

“We’re expecting council to issue the CCC in late June or early July so it’s fantastic that owners will be moving in shortly after that.”

Sitting on the crest of Herne Bay’s Northern slopes, Jervois & Lawrence offers 28 airconditioned apartments serviced by basement car parking, with all but a smattering already sold.

There is only one onebedroom plus study apartment and only one two-bedroom plus media room residence remaining, plus a few other two-bedroom or three-bedroom apartments to choose from.

However, Cook says there is still some good choice available amongst these in terms of which of the building’s five levels they’re located on, size and views. A three-bedroom subpenthouse is still available for those looking for a residence nudging the top-end of impressiveness.

Northern apartments enjoy a spectacular outlook over the Waitemata Harbour while apartments with other orientations may have views admiring water, urban aspects, the Sky Tower, the central city and volcanic Auckland.

“We are getting great feedback now the building is completed, with people saying it looks absolutely fantastic,” Cook says.

“The stone on the exterior of the building really draws your eye to its commanding position on Herne Bay’s ridgeline.”

Jervois & Lawrence is a development by Synergy Development Group and was designed by Leuschke Group Architects. Because the project is so advanced there are three show apartments available to view by appointment on site, showcasing both two and threebedroom layouts.

“Jervois & Lawrence is about exceptional quality and the feedback we’re getting from people now is that it has exceeded their already high expectations,” Cook says.

“Because they can actually visit furnished display suites in the building, they’re able to get a much better sense of the size, spaces and impeccable quality on offer.”

Apartments enjoy aspects of open-air living, depending on their location either offering decks or winter rooms which can be opened up to enjoy the warm weather.

The building’s entry is on quieter Lawrence Street and the Japanese garden in the internal atrium has been completed, offering apartments extra light and an additional outlook.

“It adds a wonderful sense of peaceful serenity,” Cook says.

Interior design by Macintosh Harris presents two colourways, showcasing beautiful herringbone wooden floors.

Myriad luxurious specifications include prestigious Arclinea kitchens with Gaggenau appliances plus natural stone vanities and MisuraEmme wardrobes.

The development has attracted many Herne Bay locals who, rather than maintaining a large house, want an easier, luxurious lock-upand-leave lifestyle.

Its drawcard location is it’s close to shops, restaurants, beaches, Westhaven Marina and Cox’s Park. The CBD is nearby, as is motorway access. Sale: Prices from $1.69 million, including car park
