Foran stars for Sea Eagles

Kieran Foran scored one try and set up another as the Manly Sea Eagles beat the St George Illawarra Dragons 32-18 on the Gold Coast last night. The Sea Eagles were without Tom Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans but Foran stepped up to help his side overcome a 14-12 halftime deficit and climb to fifth on the NRL table.

King starts with win

New Zealand’s Joelle King easily won her first-round match at the 2020-21 world squash championships in Chicago yesterday. Ranked eighth in the world, King defeated Poland’s 70th-ranked Karina Tyma in straight games 11-3, 11-2, 11-2 in 20 minutes to set up a clash with 24th-seeded Emily Whitelock of Wales this morning.
