Arrests in shooting case

Two people were arrested after a person was critically injured in a shooting in South Auckland. The victim of the incident on Elizabeth Ave, Papatoetoe, overnight on Thursday was yesterday in a stable condition. A vehicle linked to those believed to be involved was discovered shortly after the shooting, as well as two firearms. Two men, aged 24 and 27, were due to appear in the Manukau District Court yesterday. Police said they were still investigating.
