So our government approved this incredibly dumb idea and then presented it to us and thought we’d happily accept? I honestly can’t believe these people have somehow ended up in the position of running our country.

The question should be why are some providers paying the GST and others not. Surely it doesn’t need an announcement or a new law to make them pay what they are already legislated to pay. IRD should just make them pay it like everyone else has to.

And imagine the resources they must have wasted in drafting and taking it back. Sheer waste of tax money and then expect us to fill their tanks in for garbage policies. May we get a better team in the next election.
