Forget fireworks and bond over music from Bond

-

If you’re looking for a break from Guy Fawkes fireworks tonight, The Music Is Bond at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre in Auckland is sure to go off with a bang of a different kind.

Jackie Clarke (left), Nathan King, Caitlin Smith and Lavina Williams (right) perform the iconic songs of the most famous and longest-running film franchise of the past 60 years.

Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, From Russia With Love, Live and Let Die and many more songs associated with great artists such as Shirley Bassey, Adele, Tom Jones, Paul McCartney and Duran Duran are brought to life by the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra. The show is conducted by Tim Beveridge (above, centre) in a thrilling evening that will leave the audience shaken and stirred.

The Music Is Bond at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Aotea Centre tonight at 8pm. Tickets available from Ticketmaster.
