Pet of the week: Heidi

Western Leader - - RYMAN HEALTHCARE - STAFF REPORTER

Do you want to adopt Heidi?

The 18-month-old jack russell is described as a delightful young dog who loves everyone.

She is energetic and enthusiastic in her approach to life, food and toys.

Heidi is motivated by praise, which will help with her on-going obedience training and her socialising.

She enjoys playtime especially playing with her favourite soft toys and loves retrieving.

Heidi requires an owner with previous dog experience and would need a family environment with older children. She is available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting Heidi she is available for viewing at the Henderson Shelter.

Heidi will cost $275 to adopt.

All dogs are desexed, microchiped, registered, wormed, fleaed, have their first vaccination.

You will also receive a free Pedigree food pack.

If you are interested in adopting Heidi phone Henderson Animal Shelter on 09 836 7777 or visit 48 The Concourse, Henderson.

You will need to have a fully fenced section or a suitable containment area in order to adopt a dog, such as Heidi, from the shelter.
