Livestock legislation bid

Justice Minister Andrew Little has introduced an addition to legislation that would make stealing livestock punishable by seven years’ prison, and entering agricultural land intending to steal or commit other offences punishable by 10 years’ prison. The supplementary order paper to the Crimes Amendment Bill will need the agreement of every MP in order to progress to its next stage.
