Multimedia Property Writer

-

If you have your finger on the pulse of what is trending both in New Zealand and globally, when it comes to the world of property and real estate, then you might be the person we are looking for.

We are seeking a driven and dynamic multimedia writer with 2+ years of experience to create engaging content, delivered on time and with a commitment to quality. As a specialist within the property team, you’ll break stories/produce opinion pieces of national significance and deliver industry-leading news and features. This is an exciting opportunity to join an incredibly innovative team dedicated to creating premium content.

You will be generating unique and compelling story ideas to create great property content, and will therefore need a sophisticated grasp of what makes a good story and the importance of growing audiences. You’re a big-picture thinker, who is always looking for the next opportunity or exclusive story and how to tell it in a fresh, original way.

You will perform under pressure, have strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads to hit tight deadlines. You are agile and able to manage multiple stories and planning at the same time, along with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. When it comes to tech, you will also be savvy in social media and SEO classifications.

Communication and interpersonal skills are paramount. You will need to be able to direct and inspire a team as well as work closely with NZME’s commercial, marketing, events, finance, video and radio departments.

We are an organisation fostering reward & recognition, growth and development and progression and succession for our biggest asset – our talent. We are diverse, inclusive, progressive and innovative in all that we do.
