Christmas deadlines

The Council closes at 12 noon on Friday, 21 December and will re-open at 8.00am on Thursday, 3 January 2019.

Building and resource consents

If you wish to receive building and/or resource consents before the holiday period, all documentation must be submitted to us no later than Thursday, 22 November 2018. This will allow for consents to be issued before we close for the holiday period at 12 noon on Friday, 21 December 2018.

Applications made after Thursday, 22 November 2018 may not be approved before the holiday period begins.

The statutory 20 working day processing timeframe for consents will be suspended from Thursday, 20 December 2018 to Monday, 10 January 2019 inclusive.

LIM applications

If you require a LIM report before the Christmas holiday period, your completed application form and payment must reach us no later than Thursday, 6 December 2018. Applications made after Thursday, 6 December 2018 may not be processed before we close for the holidays at 12 noon on Friday, 21 December 2018.
