Look ahead to what’s in 2019 for you

This Christmas I have no plans. I have found celebrating Christmas more difficult in the last few years, but I do believe in miracles. There’s a sense of expectation — people visiting and presents given, holiday trips and festive foods. My Angels have offered me some good advice about expecting people to be perfect. When we stop expecting people to be perfect, we can like people for who they are.

This is my last column for 2018. It is the Summer Solstice — when the sun reaches its highest position and the days have the longest periods of daylight. As Pope Francis said one Christmas — “Christmas is joy, an inner joy of light and peace”. We celebrate Christmas when there is the greatest light, and hopefully the most peace.

In this last column for 2018 I have already begun to look ahead. My Angels and friends have begun my guidance for 2019 and I am grateful for what remains in 2018 and to look forward to whatever is on the way.

A friend shared this with me. “I am walking into 2019 with a clear heart and mind. If you owe me, don’t worry about it — you’re welcome. If you’ve wronged me, it’s all good — lesson learned. If you’re angry with me, you won — I’ve let it go. If we aren’t speaking, it’s cool — I wish you well. If I have wronged you, I apologise — it wasn’t intentional. I am grateful for every experience that I received. Life is too short for pent-up anger, holding of grudges and extra stress or pain. Remember forgiving someone is for you, not the other person so do not block your blessing. Make 2019 a year of positivity and a season of forgiveness.”
