You pay for what you get

-

Welcome to 2019 and a Happy New Year to you all. I love this time of year when everyone is refreshed, recharged and rearing to go. We have some great projects on the go and are looking forward to getting stuck into them. We have lots of new builds, a couple of fantastic Villa renovations and a hair salon in Palmerston North on the go which we will share with you via our social media pages once things start progressing. This month I want to talk about client expectations. As designers we always work on giving clients exactly what they want but sadly sometimes clients are unrealistic. There are occasions where client’s want a million dollar look but aren’t prepared to pay for it. The only way you are going to achieve a million dollar look is by paying for it. We can show you fantastic options for wall coverings, fabrics, custom made furniture, lighting etc. but these items all come at a price. Yes you will have something that is bespoke and different from your friends and neighbours but please be realistic as we aren’t magicians. It is all about us working with clients budgets and getting the best out of that budget. When we ask clients about the budget it isn’t because we want to use all the budget, it is so we can be realistic with you and show you what will work within your budget. This also applies for tap ware and joinery and flooring. If you don’t want to spend the money then don’t complain when your fixtures and fittings start to break down as once again you pay for what you get. If you are thinking of building or renovating then give us a call and have a chat as we can help from start to finish with your project and will give you honest advice and feedback. We look forward to sharing 2019 with you all. Have a great month everyone, Rach and Bex
