100th anniversary ceremony

The Sarjeant Gallery Te Whare o Rehua Whanganui at Pukenamu Queen’s Park will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a public ceremony on the steps of the gallery from 3.00pm to 4.00pm this Friday, 6 September 2019.

The ceremony will include speeches from Whanganui Mayor Hamish McDouall and Sarjeant Director, Greg Anderson, as well as performances from Whanganui’s Schola Sacra Choir and the Wanganui Community Choir. All are welcome to attend.
