for by our team’ says Kelly Scarrow, Fundraising Manager. “We also invite all of our community to join us in a few fun events over the next couple of weeks to help raise the much-need funds that allow us to keep serving our community. Here are a few of the events coming up”:

“We are holding a ‘Pop Up Thrift Market’ on Saturday May 20th at Whanganui City College, gold coin entry from 10am. (Limited stall spaces still available, please call Kelly on 3480090 if you would like more information).

Club Metro is hosting a Hospice Quiz Night also on Saturday 20th May at 7pm, tickets available at Club Metro, all welcome.

Just to keep you guessing, our shops will be having a one-day surprise sale, date to be advised during that week, so keep an eye on our Shop Facebook pages!”

Hospice is always looking for more volunteers to join the amazing team of volunteers across all parts of our organisation, including the gardens, the shops and at our facility on St Johns Hill.

We would love to hear from you if you would like to get involved. Our three shops in Whanganui East, Gonville and Boutique do an amazing job of helping to provide vital funds to our organisation and without the generosity of our community donating items to fill our shops this would not be possible so a huge thank you to all who donate and purchase goods at our shops. Thank you, Whanganui, for your amazing and ongoing support to us. We are grateful and could not do this work without your generous support and encouragement each year.
