Woman’s Day (New Zealand)

Nasi Goreng

SERVES 4 PREPARATIO­N 10 MINUTES COOKING 10 MINUTES

1 tablespoon sesame oil 3 cups cold cooked

rice (see tip) 1½ cups Roasted Mixed

Vegetables (recipe left) 1 garlic clove, crushed 2 teaspoons minced ginger 2 tablespoon­s kecap manis ½ cup frozen peas, thawed 4 fried eggs ½ cup coriander leaves ¼ cup fried shallots 1. In a wok, heat oil on

high. Stir-fry rice and vegetables for 3 minutes until heated. Add garlic and ginger, then stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

2. Add kecap manis and peas, stir-frying for 4 minutes until well heated.

3. Serve nasi goreng topped with fried egg, coriander and fried shallots.
