BROKEN UP, BUT NOT DOWNHEARTED

-

His romance with fellow HeartbreakIsland winner Georgia Bryers was “magic”, says Harry Jowsey, but the spell hasn’t lasted long – the TV hunk has already moved on to a new lady love!

The model, 21, admits, “I’m actually seeing someone who was also on reality TV for dating. She’s a Kiwi and she’s a couple of years older than me. She posted something about the show on Instagram and tagged me, so I started talking to her. It’s been about three weeks.”

Having recently relocated from his native Byron Bay to Auckland, Harry is keeping his new love’s name quiet for now, but he insists she isn’t to blame for his split from Georgia, though social media was a factor. “Georgia didn’t appreciate girls commenting on my Instagram pics,” he tells. “We drifted apart.”

Agreeing, Wellington design student Georgia, 23, says she realised they were very different soon after filming finished, laughing, “He posts a lot of risqué photos and lives for social media. I couldn’t relate.”

She adds that falling in love on TV made her feel “vulnerable”, explaining, “I’ve never felt what I did with Harry – it was really scary. Being on the island and in a relationship took a lot out of me. After the break-up, I was definitely hurting.”

Though he’s now moved on, Harry was “devastated” by the end of their relationship, insisting, “We’ll stay friends. She made me want to keep growing to be a better Harry.” Now living with his

Heartbreak bestie Josh Connolly, Harry has plans to invest his share of the $100,000 prize money into a new sunglasses and watch business, partnering up with fellow contestant Kristian Barbarich.

Meanwhile, happily single Georgia has travel plans – and she’ll keep the car they won, while Harry will take his flattie Josh on the two-person trip to Los Angeles. Georgia says, “I’m happy for him to do that. I just want Harry to be happy and if that means getting a new girlfriend too, I’ll stand by his decisions.”

?? ?? It was the ultimate holiday romance, but sadly their “magic” didn’t last back home. Harry and Georgia during a challenge.
