1. Let your hair dry for as long as possible naturally – aim for 60-80%. Starting from soaking wet not only takes take ages, but you also won’t won have as much control con and you’ll expose hair ha to heat for longer than t necessary. 2. 2 Working in sections is the key for a perfect, profession­al finish. Divide hair horizontal­ly into three sections – top, middle and nape.

3. Make sure the nozzle attachment is on the hairdryer and pull the hair tight with your round brush. Always point the dryer downwards, from roots to ends. Start at the nape section.

4. Finish with a light serum such as Redken Diamond Oil Glow Dry, $45, warmed in your palms, then applied to ends only.
